Taking off the mask.
When was the last time you took time out to work on yourself,?
It’s vital for me to take time out and do the very thing I just asked you. It’s important for me to be a living breathing example of the work I teach, by continuing to do my own inner work. As a facilitator of Tantra and Sacred Sexuality it is critical that I keep exploring the unknown, the shadow, the unconscious aspects of myself and dive deeply into my own trauma. By doing the work, it not only supports my own healing journey but it means I can show up more – I get to show up and be more engaged, sensual, intimate, vulnerable, compassionate not only for myself but for you my clients.
It's so easy to hide behind the mask of mentor, coach and facilitator. We are paid to focus our attention on our participants in workshops and our clients, and so we should be! But if we stop doing our own work in the transpersonal space we stop growing.
One of the many things I do to hold myself accountable is having my own coaches and mentors and a structure in place for personal accountability. And to honor myself and to continue the unfolding of that authentic self, I'm off to attend ISTA level 1-2, this two week immersion is some of the most profound Embodiment and Sexuality trainings I have done in recent decades.
This training isn’t for everyone – but if you are interested in diving into the transpersonal space of Sacred Sexuality and Embodiment I highly recommend it. And before anyone asks no I’m not being paid to say this.
I look forward to connecting with you on the other side.
Love Tony
